Akali, Rogue Assassin won the Singapore Regional Qualifier on September 6, beating Kennen, Heart of the Tempest in the final. It is the third regional final in a row that Kennen has lost, after Barcelona and Wuhan, as reported by Riftbound.gg.

Kennen still had his strongest Vendetta showing so far: an undefeated swiss run and four of the eight top-cut spots. Master Yi, Wuju Bladesman took two more, with the best of them finishing top 4 at 12-2-1, and Fiora, Grand Duelist completed the top 8 at 11-3. Both finalists closed the event at 14-1-1. Across the event, Akali's win rate was 44% over 360 matches, against 57% over 1,130 for Kennen.

The winning list

The Akali deck runs the Astral Heron core already seen in the Barcelona top 16 and the Wuhan top 8, with Blitzcrank, Impassive as the main new addition. A Legend widely considered a weak release at the start of Vendetta has improved at every regional and now has a title.

Just outside the top 8

Places 9 to 16 went to Azir, Rengar, Kha'Zix, Rek'Sai and two Ezreal players, five of them at 11-2, the record that usually earns a top 8. Kennen and Master Yi have now taken 13 of the 24 top-8 spots across the three Vendetta regionals without winning any of them.

One Kennen and one Master Yi top-8 list have not been shared yet.
