Radiance Rules Update Lands 16 October, With Four Errata Including Neeko

Riot has published the Radiance patch notes for the Riftbound Core Rules, effective 16 October with the Radiance Pre-Rift, together with errata to four Radiance cards.

New keywords

Deploy, Disarm and Show Off now have full rules. Deploy gear can be played to any battlefield, even one an opponent holds; if an opponent controls the battlefield where your Deploy gear sits, the gear is killed. Disarm triggers the first time the unit attacks each combat and gives an enemy unit there -Might equal to its value for the turn; several Disarm sources combine into one trigger. With Show Off, the information stays what it was when the card was shown.

Other changes

  • Neeko, Blending In: the extra legends are chosen at deckbuilding, shared by every Neeko in the deck, and must differ from each other and from your Champion Legend. They are not tokens, enter ready, and the same legend can't be in the Legend Zone twice.
  • Copy effects get their own layer, applied first.
  • "Choose" now means targeting, while "pick" is a choice without a target. Card wording follows with Legacy in January.
  • Pending items can't be targeted by spells or abilities, and an object can be Empowered more than once.

Errata

Neeko, Blending In now chooses up to three legends. Elnuk Herd can now buff itself, Forbidden Technique now reads "Then banish this", so it is banished after the rest of its effect, and Last Caress gets clearer wording. Riot says the errata make the cards easier to understand.
