Stuttgart Adds Nation Clash, a Side Event Where Every Win Scores for Your Country
Riftbound Organized Play has published the full side-event schedule for the Regional Championship Europe in Stuttgart, 6–8 November, together with the rules of Nation Clash, a new event in which every match win scores points for the player's country.
Nation Clash
Nation Clash starts on Saturday 7 November at 9:00: eight Swiss rounds of Bo3 Constructed, then a Top 8 played on Sunday. Entry is €50, with a cap of 2,048 players. Players pick their country when they register their weekend badge, and the choice cannot be changed on site. Regional Championship Day 2 players score for their country too, with more points per win.
The winning nation is the one with the best average, not the biggest total: each country's points are divided by its players who completed at least one match, and a country needs at least five of them to qualify. The top three scorers of each country get a Nation Clash medal.
The rest of the weekend
- Radiance Standard Challenges on Friday and Sunday (€50, Bo3), both testing the new start-of-game rules: on Friday the second player draws an extra card after channeling runes on their first turn, on Sunday they score 1 point instead.
- Radiance Draft Challenge on Saturday and Radiance Sealed Challenge on Sunday (€75, Bo3).
- Super Nexus Night on Friday at 19:30: €25, up to 4,000 players, a Nexus Night booster for everyone.
- On-demand Constructed, 2v2 and Free-for-All tables (€10) and Radiance drafts (€25) all weekend, plus free Learn to Play games.
Riftbound Zone reports that side-event tickets go on sale on 30 October at 9:00.
