Creator Badge Applications Open for the Stuttgart Regional Championship

Riot has opened Creator badge applications for the first European Regional Championship, running in Stuttgart from November 6 to 8. The official form closes on September 13, applicants must be 18 or older, and selected creators are contacted afterward.

The badge is worth reading closely. It grants access to the event floor and the creator activities, but not a seat in the main tournament, and it does not cover travel or lodging. A competitive seat is still earned on the field, through a Top 64 finish at a Regional Qualifier. The form asks for a creator name, region, main social profile and a link to a piece of Riftbound work you are proud of, and follower counts are not the deciding factor.

The event itself is the bigger story. Stuttgart is Riftbound's first European Regional Championship, played in Standard with the new set Radiance legal: six Swiss rounds on Friday, Day 2 at twelve match points, six more rounds Saturday to set the Top 8, and the finals on Sunday. On the line are a $50,000 prize pool and a place at the first Riftbound World Championship for the Top 8. Qualification invites are not region-locked, and can also be used at the North American Regional Championship in Las Vegas on December 11-13.
