LeBlanc Wins Houston, the First Big Post-Ban Riftbound Event

With 562 players, the event was the largest North American gathering before this weekend's Los Angeles Regional Qualifier, even though it wasn't a regional itself. Writing on riftbound.gg, analyst Den treated it as an early look at how the format shifted once Ekko, Recurrent and Stacked Deck left Standard.

LeBlanc won the title and placed a second pilot in the top 16, though a 51 percent win rate suggests she is not yet a lock for a Los Angeles top 8. Jayce also impressed with a top 4 and a 57 percent win rate, while the Order domain stayed strong through Viktor. The most striking number was Akali's: the weakest top legend by overall win rate still posted the event's best conversion rate, turning 3 of 26 decks into the top 16, including a top 8. Kennen, the most-played legend of the Vendetta season, slipped to a top 8 and a top 16 after losing Stacked Deck. Den says a full post-ban tier list is expected within days.
