Rengar Wins the Final Vendetta Regional Qualifier in Los Angeles
The player Prismaticism won the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier with Rengar, closing out a 14-0-2 run. As reported on Riftbound.gg, it was the last Regional Qualifier of the Vendetta season and the first premier event played under the September 18 ban list, which removed Ekko, Recurrent and Stacked Deck from Standard.
The Top 8 was defined by the Calm domain: seven of the eight decks were built around it. Rengar beat Xeno's Irelia in the final, with a second Irelia, Azir, Master Yi, Wuju Bladesman, Akali and Ornn filling out the cut. Prismaticism pointed to a double Serrated Dirk in game two of the final as the swing that sealed the title.
The result also reframed Kennen. Both Kennen pilots led day-one conversion but finished 11-2, one short of the 11-1-1 quarterfinal cutoff, the same pattern of dominating the Swiss without converting a title that followed Kennen through Singapore and Shenyang. With Vendetta's Regional Qualifier circuit now closed, attention turns to the Chengdu Major and the first Regional Championships in Stuttgart and Las Vegas.
